Black Lives Matter. All lives don’t matter until Black lives matter as well. As much. As equals. As an artist, my imagination can be an escape from reality at times. The reality is that we live in a world where the term Black Lives Matter needs to be said out loud and no amount of imagination or mental gymnastics can deny that. I am proudly anti-racist, anti-fascist, anti-sexist, and I believe that the power belongs to the people. My work will never be in opposition of those statements and I refuse to provide my services to people who are racists, fascists, and sexists or those who defend them.
Black Lives Matter. Until society shows it, I will keep saying it and I will keep educating myself and learning about the truths of ingrained, systemic racism and continue to use my skills and gifts to progress human rights and end these evil ideologies.
